The First United Methodist Church of Eastpoint operates a Methodist Care Closet.

The thrift store is open to the public on Thursday and Friday (except holidays) from 10 o’clock to 1 PM. Shop for low prices on gently used clothing (children, women, & men), shoes, linens, towels & pillows, kitchen items & appliances, books, toys, games, and electronics. Enter from David Street because the store is at the back of the church building.

Penny’s Worth – a popular shopping destination for local residents as well as seasonal visitors, providing gently used clothing, household goods, and books at affordable prices. Operated by volunteers, who sort and price donated items, the thrift shop revenues provide operating income for the Church, as well as donations to charitable organizations in the community. Penny's Worth is open Tuesdays & Saturdays, 10 am - 3 pm.

Thrift Hut Hours: Wed - Sun 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

We're here to support our community. One of the best ways to prevent homeless pets is to help them stay in their current homes. We provide assistance with free pet food, low cost spay/neuter, and finding lost pets and the thrift store enables us to do that.

Goodwill has discounted clothing, books and household items available.

If you live in Gulf or Franklin, you may qualify for the free diaper assistance and wrap around support through the WEE CARE program.

SHARE YOUR HEART Volunteer Chaplaincy Program - Trained volunteer chaplains are ready to respond to referrals for assistance of food, clothing, essential supplies, spiritual and emotional support within 48 hours.

• Educational Support: Our organization supplies educational materials, including school supplies and books, to help students succeed in their studies.
• Community Engagement: We organize events and workshops that encourage youth participation, promote life skills, and build a sense of community.
