Big Bend Transit provides transportation services in Gulf and Franklin counties, Florida, including paratransit for individuals with disabilities and contracted transportation for Medicaid recipients. They also offer transportation services for the general public, such as trips to medical appointments, work, or the grocery store.
In addition, they have a program designed to assist individuals who are Transportation Disadvantaged (TD), meaning unable to access transportation due to disability, income limitations, age, or lack of vehicle access. Eligible residents may receive low-cost transportation to essential destinations, including:
- Employment and job training
- Medical and behavioral health care
- Educational institutions
- Grocery stores, food banks, and pharmacies
- Life-sustaining services
- Personal and social appointments

Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM with ADA-accessible vehicles
(Call on Friday by 2 pm if you need a Monday ride.)

Fares (One-Way Trips):
TD Eligible: $3.00 (waived for first three months) • General Public: $10.00 • Escorts: Same fare
Exact fare only (cash, check, money order, Ride Pass)
Cancellations:
Cancel at least 2 hrs before
Late cancel/no-show = full fare charged
